Should I use my own voice, or create a character for my classroom puppets?

Every teacher and assessor has their own preference when it comes to using puppets in the classroom, and some of them get really creative when it comes to picking a voice for their character.

Take some time to find a voice that you’re comfortable speaking in and reflects the voice of a young child (remember, all of our characters are between five and eight years old!)

If you’re not comfortable using a character voice, just try and soften your tone to create a distinction between yourself and the puppet.
