Conducting the community partner/Elder survey provides a holistic view of student learning, yielding valuable, more comprehensive insight into the student’s access to learning outside of school and a home environment.
Some assessors have used home visits as a means to deliver surveys to community partners or Elders. This may be the best way to accommodate assessment participants, however, Assessment Day is always the best option to ensure proper and timely survey completion.
To complete the community partner/Elder survey, login to the app and choose ‘Elder’.
From the drop down menu, choose the school relevant to you. Select ‘Start Survey’ to begin.
Complete the survey and select ‘Submit Survey’. There will be an option to submit a personalized note with the assessment results (if needed).
