Conducting the Caregiver Survey Outside of School

Conducting the caregiver survey provides a holistic view of student learning, yielding valuable, more comprehensive insight into the student’s access to learning in a home environment.

There are three ways for caregivers to conduct the survey: on the assessment app, at home in the Caregiver Portal or with a generated link. This article will look at how caregivers can complete the survey outside of school on the Caregiver Portal and with a generated link.

Caregiver Portal

Caregivers can also complete their surveys on the Caregiver Portal which can be accessed via desktop or laptop computer.

To conduct the caregiver assessment, login to the caregiver portal and select ‘Results’.

Select your child.

Next to the learning rings above ‘Home’, ‘School’ and ‘Community’, select the green bar labeled ‘Places of Learning’. From there, select ‘Caregiver Survey’ from the drop-down menu.

Complete the survey and select ‘Submit’.

Generated Link

For caregivers unable to access the Caregiver Portal, accessors can send a generated survey link directly to their inbox. From there, the caregiver will be directed to a caregiver survey.

To generate a survey link, visit the Educator Portal.

Select ‘Generate Caregiver Survey Links’ on the navigation sidebar. Links and access codes will be generated for all Caregivers in your school. You can copy and paste the links and access codes in an email for the appropriate caregiver.
